Nelli’s Village Cafe is a delightful haven nestled in the heart of Yealmpton, Plymouth. This charming cafe is more than just a place to refuel; it’s an experience that tickles your taste buds and warms your heart. From the moment you step in, the inviting ambiance wraps around you like a cozy hug, enhanced by shabby chic decor, fresh flowers, and an array of quaint cups and saucers that evoke a nostalgic charm.

As you peruse the menu, you'll discover a selection that caters to all tastes, making it the perfect spot for breakfast, brunch, or a leisurely afternoon tea. Picture starting your day with a mouth-watering bacon sandwich and a frothy cappuccino; it’s an extraordinary combo that makes mornings that much brighter. The breakfast options, paired with expertly brewed coffee, are complimented by the friendly banter of the staff, ensuring you feel right at home whether you're dining solo or with friends.

The cafe truly shines when it comes to its cream teas, which are a local favorite. Diners rave about the lovely fresh scones served with generous portions of clotted cream and jam – the perfect accompaniment to a steaming pot of tea. As you take your first bite, the light, fluffy texture of the scone melts in your mouth, and the carefully curated flavors dance on your palate, leaving you wanting more.

But it's not just the food that makes Nelli’s special; it’s the sense of community. Customers consistently report the exceptional service and warmth radiating from the staff. As one visitor, Fiona Crowdy, noted, they make you feel incredibly welcome, creating an atmosphere that feels more like visiting a friend’s home than a typical cafe. Hayley Ferme echoed this sentiment with her praise of the helpful staff, and the beautiful outdoor courtyard, complete with blankets for those sunny but brisk days.

Scott Wilson sums up the allure of this gem perfectly, stating that a visit to Nelli’s should not be missed. Whether you opt for a light snack or one of their decadent cakes, you’ll find that every morsel is crafted with care and attention. With an assortment of cakes so delectable, it’s nearly impossible to choose just one! The temptations are endless.

In summary, Nelli’s Village Cafe is not just a stop on your journey; it’s a destination in itself. With a menu that celebrates homemade goodness, a warm and inviting atmosphere, and a staff that treats you like family, it’s no wonder customers keep coming back for more. Plan your visit today, and indulge in a cafe experience that’s set to become one of your favorites.

Lovely cream teas and excellent service. Topped the cream and jam up and offered to top up tea pot with hot water. Lovely fresh scones, will visit again when in the area.

Lovely cafe to visit. Pretty table set up (shabby chic style), fresh flowers, cups and saucers, blankets for sitting outside in the courtyard area. Nice selection of snacks and cakes. Staff very helpful. Will definitely visit again.

A lovely little tea room. Tea served in retro bone China. Which I love. The cakes all looked so yummy. But I had a sandwich which came with a small salad and crisps. A great place to sit and chat with friends. Staff are so friendly and helpful.
